CNN Hires IDG's Bradley for Digital Ad Lead

In London, news and information services provider CNN International Commercial has hired former IDG UK exec Rob Bradley for a newly created role, Head of Digital Advertising Sales and Data.

Rob BradleyCNN International's portfolio is available in five different languages across all major TV, Internet and mobile platforms reaching more than 392 million households around the globe. The group, which is part of Time Warner-owned Turner Broadcasting System, has 41 editorial offices and more than 1,100 affiliates worldwide through CNN Newsource.

Bradley (pictured) joins from the UK arm of technology media, events and research company IDG, where he latterly served as Head of Business Operations, and was earlier Head of Programmatic. Before this, he held senior business development roles at Fox International Channels UK and Centaur Communications.

In his new position, Bradley will lead digital advertising sales, programmatic and data strategy. He will oversee the optimisation of CNN International's audience, the international roll-out of its programmatic strategy, and the implementation of more advanced data-led strategies, including the integration of social media. In addition, he will lead a new team of specialists that work with regional sales heads to develop digital components for advertising and sponsorship solutions.
