Storck is New Arrival at Crowdtap

In New York, brand influencer network Crowdtap has appointed former Jupiter Research President Peter Storck as Senior Vice President of Research & Analytics.

Peter StorckLaunched in March 2011, Crowdtap gives access to targeted groups of influential consumers for real-time market research and concept development. Last year, the company secured $5m in a Series B round of funding, bringing its total raised to date to $15m.

Storck (pictured) joins from social media marketing platform House Party, where he served as SVP of Research & Analytics for the past six years. Prior to this, he set up research firm Points North Group, working with technology, media, and marketing companies. In the early days of the Internet, he launched Jupiter Research's online advertising practice, and he later became President of Jupiter. Currently, Storck sits on the Board of Directors for the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) and is Chairman of WOMMA's Research & Measurement Council.

In his new role, Storck will be responsible for developing new measurement practices. CEO Sean Foster comments: 'As Crowdtap redefines the way in which marketers weigh the value of real people when it comes to their marketing programs, we must also redefine how these types of peer-to-peer interactions are measured. We're excited to welcome Peter to the team to rewrite the way our industry measures social media and ultimately help our partners succeed'.
