TNS has appointed David Lansanah as Global Head of Innovation and Product Development. He will initially be based in London, before relocating to Singapore later this year.
Lansanah (pictured) joins from Ipsos, where he served as MD of the global product research and development practice, MarketQuest. Prior to Synovate's acquisition by Ipsos, he was Head of the MarketQuest team in Cincinnati, Ohio; then Regional Director of MarketQuest in CEEMA; and later, he led the regional business unit in Greece, and managed the division in Asia Pacific from Singapore. Earlier, in his career, he worked for RoperASW, AcuPOLL Research and WonderGroup.
In his new role, Lansanah will lead and develop the global Innovation practice, and build on the existing product portfolio, leading a dedicated team of innovation experts. He replaces Steve Landis who is retiring at the end of the year, having joined the firm in 2007 after TNS acquired his US-based consultancy Landis Strategy & Innovation.
Commenting on Lansanha's appointment, Jonathan Chocqueel-Mangan, Director of Strategy & Transformation, said: 'David is highly regarded in the industry for his knowledge of building and rolling out brilliant innovation research programmes worldwide. Brought up in Sierra Leone and having lived and worked in the US, Europe and Asia, he also brings a host of international experience that will no doubt be complimented by his new base in the fast-paced environment of Singapore'.
