Location-Based Targeting Firm AdNear Expands to Europe

Mobile data intelligence platform AdNear is expanding into Europe, appointing former TrustE Managing Director Ken Parnham as General Manager of Europe, based in its new London office.

AdNear, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Singapore, uses mobile user data and its own proprietary technology to uncover real-time consumer insights and then apply them to off-line attribution, allowing advertisers to define their own custom audiences. It already has locations in Australia, South East Asia, Japan and India.

Parnham has almost twenty years' experience in digital media, and before data privacy management company TrustE worked in senior role at OpenX, Wanadoo and 24/7 Media. The firm has also recently added Cameron Curtis as General Manger for Australia and New Zealand, and Nandita Pal as General Manager for South East Asia and Hong Kong.

Shobhit Shukla, the firm's Chief Revenue Officer, comments: 'Having established our proposition in APAC, expansion into Europe is a logical next step in our strategy, which is being driven directly by advertiser demand in the region'.
