New Tool Speeds Up Analysis of Video Feedback

June 17 2015

Video clip research platform provider VoxPopMe has launched a new tool, Theme Explorer, which uses advanced thematic analysis to organise video content and simplify the task of pulling insights from it.

VoxPopMe was founded two years ago in Birmingham, UK as a platform combining mobile and video technology to gather and deliver consumer feedback using 15-60 second videos - which can then be 'accurately transcribed and sentiment scored within minutes', according to the firm.

Theme Explorer shows users the 'themes' the platform has identified within video, allowing similar themes to be merged and irrelevant ones discarded. Users can filter content based on date and other supplied meta data such as age, gender or responses to survey questions.

CEO Dave Carruthers comments: 'We're always thinking about ways that we can enable researchers to use video in ways that was previously impossible due to time and cost constraints. Theme Explorer takes this even further, providing a tool that can effectively and efficiently put video responses to work for our clients'.

The firm is online at www.voxpopme.com .
