CEO Sells IT Performs to Focus on New Analytics Venture

Glen Westlake, the founder of Birmingham, UK-based business analytics company IT Performs has sold the company to SAP consultancy firm itelligence Business Solutions in order to focus on a new company, Kairos, specialising in cloud-based predictive analytics.

Westlake founded IT Performs in 1996, and grew it into an SAP Gold Partner before the sale earlier this month. As CEO of Kairos Analytics, established last year, he will now focus on the use of cloud-based machine-learning to analyse big data and help B2B sales and marketing teams. Kairos' out-of-the-box software takes data from clients' CRM, marketing automation and web analytics systems and combines it with external data to predict customer behaviour. Specifically, users can calculate customer lifetime value (CLV), analyse customer retention and generate product recommendations.

Westlake says of the change: 'I am very excited to be able to focus all of my resources on Kairos and what I believe to be the future of business intelligence - cloud-based predictive analytics. B2B companies are collecting mountains of data, but most of them do not know how to unlock the gems of insight hidden within. We aim to change that with Kairos' marketing intelligence platform that will enable companies to acquire, develop and retain customers'.
