Another UX Acquisition: EPAM Buys NavigationArts

July 14 2015

In the US, digital strategy and experience design firm NavigationArts has been acquired by EPAM Systems, a provider of product development and software engineering solutions.

The news follows yesterday's announcement that the Digital business unit of India-based services giant Wipro is to acquire Danish experience-based design firm Designit.

Headquartered in McLean, VA, NavigationArts combines business and customer experience consulting with content management systems and solutions, and has offices in New York, Boston and Philadelphia.

NavigationArts CEO and co-founder Leo Mullen says the firm has been 'very successful helping clients transform in the face of digital disruption', but adds: 'we always knew we could provide more value if we were part of a larger entity. Joining EPAM allows us to offer a much broader array of services and solve even more complex and technically sophisticated challenges that face our clients'.

Arkadiy Dobkin, EPAM CEO and President, whose company has locations in more than twenty countries worldwide, says experience platforms have become 'the backbone of customers' multi-channel engagement strategies', making the new acquisition an exciting one for his firm's fast-growing Digital Engagement practice.
