Cint / GMO Deal Includes Debut for 'Private Pricing'

Asian panel platform GMO Research and global panel marketplace Cint have announced an agreement adding more than three million of the former's Asia Cloud Panel respondents to the current fifteen million active panellists in the latter's OpinionHUB exchange.

The deal gives users of Cint's DIY Access / Access Pro user-interfaces and fully automated APIs a much larger selection of deeply profiled panellists in the region.

Cint's fifteen million plus people in 60 countries are recruited through 800 different panel owners including publishers, local media outlets, MR agencies and non-profits. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and has offices in major cities across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. GMO, which bills itself as a 'one-stop research solution platform provider', offers traditional qual and quant; eye tracking, mobile research and online communities in addition to its panel service which operates in 13 countries. The last include a huge panel via an ambitious joint venture in China; three million Malaysian consumers; and other SE Asian and Pacific nations via a partnership with Borderless Access.

The new agreement is the first to include use of Cint's 'Private Pricing' solution, which allows buyers and sellers to negotiate rate cards and commercial arrangements directly whilst leveraging the company's platform and technology to handle sample sourcing and delivery. In this case, the buyer is DIY research platform SurveyMonkey, which will now source all GMO Research supply via OpinionHUB, while using the same system for its existing Cint contracts.
