Cornelius Takes Senior Role at Ebiquity Aus/NZ

Media and marketing insights firm Ebiquity has appointed former Nielsen MD Peter Cornelius as Director of Client Service - Media for Australia and New Zealand.

Peter CorneliusFounded in 1997 as Thomson Intermedia, Ebiquity comprises an Analytics division, offering media buying measurement and benchmarking, and performance measurement; and a 'Platform' division which provides media monitoring products.

Cornelius (pictured) joins after running his own media consultancy, which operated under the marketing umbrella of Kinesis Media. Prior to this he was MD of Media at Nielsen Australia and NZ, managing the company's media measurement and ad information services and dealing with advertisers, media companies, media agencies and industry bodies. Earlier, he spent sixteen years at the George Patterson Bates agency group, eventually becoming one of the founders of Zenith Media and rising to the role of MD and Chief Negotiating Officer.

During his career, Cornelius has also served on several industry bodies, including terms as President of the Media Federation of Australia, Chairman of the Audit Bureau of Circulations, and on the Executive Board of the Circulations Audit Bureau.
