Accenture Launches Data Apps for Telecoms Sector

Management consultancy Accenture has launched a set of five advanced analytics apps, through which it says telecoms companies can make more effective pricing, staffing, maintenance and planning decisions.

Marco VernocchiThe new apps are 'revenue forecasting', 'bundle pricing', 'call volume forecaster', 'network predictive fault management', and 'IT governance'. They can be used on their own, or through the Accenture Insights Platform analytics-as-a-service solution.

Accenture currently offers a total of 25 advanced analytics apps for the telecoms, retail, financial services and utilities industries, and also offers to tailor-make apps for clients' specific needs.
