Mobile Attribution Analyst Kochava Opens in Korea

US-based mobile campaign attribution analytics and optimization firm Kochava has opened an office in Seoul, South Korea.

David SonThrough its mobile attribution platform, Kochava provides mobile advertisers with real-time visualization of campaign data that spans from initial launch, through conversion and lifetime value reporting, including post-install event tracking. Earlier in the year, the firm acquired predictive analytics specialist InferSystems, and announced the launch of the 'Kochava Optimization Beacon', an off-the-shelf predictive machine learning tool automating and optimising mobile ad campaigns.

Kochava is headquartered in Sandpoint, ID, USA, with a base in Beijing, China, and says the Seoul office will expand its presence in APAC, The Korean operations will be led David Son (pictured), who previously helped launch the Korean office for app store analytics firm App Annie, and earlier held senior roles at ad platform SponsorPay, games developer Com2uS, and mobile app developer dooub.

CEO Charles Manning says Kochava was being contacted by Korean-based companies who were 'frustrated with the lack of quality attribution services in Korea' and knew it could step into the breach. 'We added a locally based account manager, opened an office in Seoul, and immediately landed a host of key clients in the region, including seven top ranking apps'.
