BritainThinks Founders Appoint Former Colleague

London-based opinion research specialist BritainThinks has appointed former Opinion Leader Research (OLR) exec Lucy Brady as Research Director.

BritainThinks was launched in 2010 by OLR co-founders Deborah Mattinson and Viki Cooke, along with their former colleague Ben Shimshon. The firm offers strategic advice based on insight gained from stakeholders, consumers, citizens and employees for political, corporate and not-for-profit clients, while its recently opened WorldThinks international division has a specific focus on reputation research.

Brady (pictured) joins with a thirteen-year background gained both agency and client side, and across the public and private sectors. Most recently, she served as Head of Insight at Allianz Insurance, prior to which she was a Senior AD at TNS BMRB. Earlier, in addition to time as a Consultant at Opinion Leader, she worked on research for the Change4Life campaign for the UK Department of Health, and was Research Manager at the National Social Marketing Centre.

Commenting on the appointment, Cooke said: 'It's fantastic to be working with Lucy again. She has a wealth of experience in behaviour change and will be working with us to help expand our fast growing public sector practice'.
