Fraudlogix Names Sites with Least Non-Human Traffic

October 2 2015

US-based online traffic monitoring solutions firm Fraudlogix has compiled a register of top performing publishing sites which have little or no fake, non-human traffic.

Hagai ShechterFounded in 2009, Fraudlogix's technology is used to detect display and video fraud from desktop and mobile environments. This helps the company continuously analyze traffic data across clients' campaigns, to ensure that their ads are being served to real people.

To produce the new register, Fraudlogix data scientists mined the firm's fraud database - which includes data collected from 362 million unique users each month - for any sites that showed very minimal to no fraud or fake traffic. This includes traffic which is free of bots, scripts and other non-human forms of traffic.

Sites were selected according to Fraudlogix's scoring algorithms, which identify non-human traffic across more than six million sites each month, originating from over 1.3 million publishers. The firm examined those sites which scored between zero and five (with zero denoting the lowest percentage of fraudulent traffic), and 500 top performer sites with a score of zero were then selected for inclusion in the register.

CEO Hagai Shechter (pictured) comments: 'So much of the industry's collective efforts are focused on weeding out the bad but there are a lot of publishers working hard to provide real human traffic. We want to shed a positive light on the efforts of those publishers who are weeding out fraud, and we hope the Register of Top Performers helps advertisers find good traffic, gives well-deserved credit to publishers who are and have been doing the right thing, and maybe even encourages other publishers to follow suit.'
