Coleman Insights Rolls Out FACT360 Music Test

In the US, radio and music research specialist Coleman Insights has launched a new, online version of its FACT Strategic Music Test, which promises to help radio stations build the most appealing and targeted libraries possible.

Founded in 1978 and based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, Coleman Insights also has offices in Philadelphia and Hamburg, Germany. The firm combines the latest research techniques with traditional methodologies to help clients develop their brands and build content. Its Music Forecasting division focuses on helping record labels, artists and managers; while its knowDigital division is dedicated to new media and technology.

FACT360 recruits via landlines, mobile phones and online, and then sends qualified respondents to online surveys to provide their feedback about music. The firm says this approach gives it better samples than other music testing offerings, and deliver its services at a more competitive price point than in the past.

The new service builds on the existing FACT Strategic Music Test, which Coleman has provided for more than twenty years.
