SHC Universal Strengthens Client Team

US healthcare data collection firm SHC Universal has promoted Hilary Fischer to Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer after just two and a half months at the company. Sal Brucculeri moves up to EVP, Client Relationships and Sales Management while David Katz and Laurie Shapiro also join the function.

Katz joins from Research Now and Shapiro from Schlesinger Associates as SVP and Vice President, Client Relationships, respectively.

Based in NYC, the company provides access to more than two million healthcare professionals, from physicians and nurses to pharmacists, dentists, veterinarians and hospital administration staff; as well as patients and caregivers. In the New Year, it completed a funding round of unspecified size, and moved to the new name having previously traded as sister companies UniversalSurvey and SurveyHealthCare.

Fischer (pictured) is a former COO of Lightspeed All Global who joined SHC at the end of July to focus on global product development and corporate acquisitions, while expanding the business development team into Europe. Prior to Lightspeed, she spent fourteen years at Kantar Healthcare, most recently as VP of Global Operations and Compliance; and earlier she was a Field Supervisor at both LaValle Research and McCarthy Associates.
