US Mobile Ad Analytics Firm Marchex Expands to Sydney

Seattle, US-based mobile ad analytics company Marchez has opened an office in Sydney, where it has appointed digital marketing veteran Daniel Benton as Country Manager, Australia & New Zealand.

Daniel BentonFounded in 2003, and with additional offices in NYC and Las Vegas, Marchex offers a system to connect online behavior to real-world, off-line actions. Its flagship Call Analytics platform measures and analyses the leads/calls delivered to businesses by their mobile, online and off-line ad campaigns, then provides insights about which campaigns give the best ROI. The firm says its expansion to Australia is in part to support growing demand for its platform.

Benton (pictured) joins from multi-channel marketing firm Salmat Digital, where he served as General Manager of Search, prior to which he held senior roles at Photon agencies Returnity and The Found Agency, before they were acquired by Salmat.

Gary Nafus, Marchex's Chief Revenue Officer, comments: 'Daniel's deep understanding of digital marketing and search, as well as his proven track-record in growing digital businesses, will be instrumental to growing our enterprise customer base in Australia'.
