Future Thinking Names Head of Analytics for The Hub

UK-based business intelligence specialist Future Thinking has appointed former 2CV exec Alex Lomizov to drive its advanced analytics business across all teams and locations, with the title of Head of Analytics.

Alex LomizovFuture Thinking's 'Analytics Hub' business was launched in 2011, and offers a full range of methodologies for clients ranging from small market research agencies through to branding shops. Services include segmentation, statistical modelling, dashboard and visualisation, conjoint and discrete choice analysis, as well as forecasting and data mining.

Lomizov (pictured) joins from 2CV, where he served as Interim Director of Analytics. Before this, he worked in Russia as Head of Quantitative Research at Bojole Research and Associate Research Director at IMCA. More recently, he co-founded a marketing analytics business called www.proved.co, which offered an online service to test and benchmark new product ideas and received '2015 Best New Technology Award' from mobile association MRMW.

In his new role, Lomizov is responsible for advanced analytics efforts across all Future Thinking offices (London, Oxford, High Wycombe and Paris) and all account teams. He will also develop new product ideas. CEO Jon Priest comments: 'Alex is an exceptional statistician and data scientist and I am delighted he has joined the company. His knowledge also extends to the development of digital products which will enable us to launch a new range of intelligent solutions aimed at delivering more valuable insight'.
