November 26 2015

In the UK, food and drinks industry R&D firm Campden BRI has opened a dedicated consumer test centre in Leamington Spa, to uncover insights about new products and provide related quant and qual consumer research.

Campden BRI Opens Consumer Food and Drink Test CentreThe Chipping Campden-based firm provides scientific, technical and legislative support to the food, drink and allied industries. Its new centre includes product preparation facilities, meeting/briefing areas and two studios, each with a viewing facility and break out room designed specifically for qual research, including focus groups and in-depth interviews. Services will support concept development, prototype assessment, and final product evaluation, as well as product benchmarking.

Campden BRI says the facility will complement its existing sensory and consumer facilities at its headquarters in Gloucestershire, and at the site of its brewing division in Nutfield, Surrey.

Peter Burgess, Head of Consumer and Sensory Sciences, comments: 'We work with some of the world's biggest brands and retailers in the food and drink industry, and this new regional centre provides us with a world-class facility offering even greater capacity and flexibility to ensure that we can meet their needs both now and in the future.'
