GfK Upgrades Spex Access Service

GfK has added 360-degree product view capabilities to its Spex Access suite of services, to provide shoppers with a more detailed look at items before making a purchase.

GfK Adds 360-degree Product Views to Spex AccessSpex Access was developed by GfK's Etilize team, which offers product-based data to resellers, distributors, manufacturers and pricing portals. The service allows online sellers to access up-to-date descriptions, rich content and images for more than four million products in the US, and manufacturers to control how their brands are portrayed on thousands of retail web sites.

Earlier this year, Etilize updated Spex Access, to give subscribers new tools and access to more data about their catalogues. Some of these improvements include analytics on top search categories, monthly market trends, branded portals for resellers, and daily updates of distributor requests. Using the new 360-degree product views, online shoppers can visualize and assess products, while the images help manufacturers and retailers display their items in a more descriptive way.
