MMR Opens MR Video Analysis and Editing Portal

In the UK, Oxfordshire-based consumer insight and sensory specialist MMR Research has launched an online portal called MMR-TV, through which large volumes of video content can be analysed and edited.

MMR Opens MR Video Analysis and Editing PortalVideo can be collected via online surveys, MMR's DiaLogs App, or through sources such as focus groups or mobile phone footage - and automatically downloaded into the new portal, where it is transcribed. Content is fully searchable, and word clouds are featured to summarise themes and language. Clips can be shared without having to e-mail large files.

Global CEO Mat Lintern explains: 'Until now the process of handling and analysing video had been labour intensive and slow, limiting its uptake outside of qualitative projects. MMR-TV makes the process much easier, removing many of the complexities of working with video - file sizes, editing, collaboration and so forth - and allowing our team to search for the most relevant videos to deliver rich consumer insights quickly'.
