In the US, real-time personalization and behavioral tracking specialist Evergage has raised a $10m Series B round of funding, which it will use to enhance its solutions and to grow its headcount by more than 70% by the end of 2016.
The firm's cloud-based platform delivers real-time personalization to more than 500 million web visitors of various publishing sites, based on behavioral analytics and customer data. Its service also offers multivariate and A/B testing functionality, a predictive recommendations engine, and a solution that helps companies adapt each visitor's experience based on industry or company name.
The new funding round has been led by Arrowroot Capital, together with existing investors G20 Ventures and Point Judith Capital; and brings the total raised to date to more than $21m.
CEO and co-founder Karl Wirth (pictured) comments: 'Helping marketers make every experience engaging is our core mission, and we're excited about this next round of funding from Arrowroot Capital and our existing investors and their support to make this mission a widespread reality'.
