B2B Intelligence Firm Artesian Opens in US

February 1 2016

Artesian Solutions, a UK-based provider of customer engagement and sales acceleration software, has opened its first overseas office, in Boston, MA, USA. Newly appointed VP of Sales Tom Beriau is joined in the US by co-founder Mike Blackadder, who will relocate.

Artesian draws its intelligence from millions of sources such as news, corporate information and social media, filters it and converts it into commercially-focused insights based on the companies and industries that are important to users. Users can use the information to build an accurate view of their customer and prospect base, and to target, connect and share with customers and prospects.

The firm says Boston was chosen as the first step in its international expansion as a known hub for B2B expertise, 'offering a great base from which to service customers across the whole of the US, as well as a stepping stone towards delivering a truly global offering'.

Beriau brings more than twenty years of enterprise software expertise from large technology companies including Zuora, Interwoven and Hortonworks.

Co-founder and CEO Andrew Yates says the Boston office is 'just the beginning of our expansion strategy' and comments: 'Incorporation sends a clear message to our US customers about our intention to provide support for our award winning service on a global basis. Our largely multi-national customers many of whom are headquartered in the US, have been driving demand for Artesian - regarded by them as more than just smart data and insights about customers but a complete sales engagement solution which complements LinkedIn'.

Artesian has existing offices in London and Winnersh, Berkshire, and is online at www.artesian.co .
