US-based digital analytics firm Webtrends has launched a big data platform, Infinity, providing 'actionable customer intelligence' for personalised marketing programs.
Steve Earl, the firm's Senior Director of Product Marketing, says the platform addresses a number of market demands, including the collection of behavioral data across the Internet of Things; fast access for real-time decision making; integration of aggregate and visitor-level data in 'a single easy-to-use experience for both analysts and marketers'; accuracy at scale; and results exportable to other marketing platforms for further work. At the same time, it features end-to-end data privacy and security via the encryption of individuals' data in transit and at rest.
