gShift Buys Influencer Marketing Platform InNetwork

March 22 2016

Marketing metrics software developer gShift has acquired influencer marketing platform InNetwork in an all-stock deal, with terms not disclosed.

Krista LaRiviereInNetwork is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and offers an online platform for marketers to connect with those influencers who will participate in both paid and non-paid social media campaigns. The firm's proprietary scoring system has been designed to help clients search for, select and engage influencers, and paid campaigns are priced according to influence scoring, frequency and reach.

This functionality will now be integrated with gShift's platform, which enables digital agencies to analyze content performance across search and social media initiatives; analyze relevant conversations and web activity; and measure content, ROI and engagement. The entire InNetwork team will join gShift.

gShift CEO Krista LaRiviere (pictured) comments: 'Acquiring InNetwork and adding influencer identification and management to gShift's existing suite of software strengthens the entire content campaign process and helps marketers get their message to target audiences, through highly-targeted social influencers'.
