Leading Edge Forum Hires Gartner Veteran Dave Aron

In London, global research and thought leadership community the Leading Edge Forum (LEF) has appointed Gartner veteran Dave Aron as Global Research Director.

LEF offers an annual membership programme of research, events, onsite workshops and advisory services, to support Chief Information Officers and other senior digital business leaders in areas such as strategy, organizational change, executive education, staff development and the future of the central IT function.

Aron (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' experience in the information technology sector. Most recently, he spent more than twelve years at Gartner, latterly as VP and Research Fellow focusing on strategy, new digital business models and CIO leadership issues. Earlier in his career, he was CTO at Xtempus, an Associate at McKinsey, and Systems Manager at Baring Securities.

In his new role, Aron is in charge of a team of analysts, tasked with helping business and IT leaders understand the intersection between the two.
