Wrestling Broadcaster Hires Data Strategy SVP

US broadcaster and media company WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has hired Time Warner Cable veteran Pamela Murrin for a newly created role, SVP Data Strategy.

Pamela MurrinWWE reaches more than 650 million homes worldwide in 25 languages on its television programming, pay-per-view, digital media and publishing platforms. The company is headquartered in Stamford, CT, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Mexico City, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, Munich and Tokyo.

Murrin (pictured) joins from Time Warner Cable, where she worked for nearly fifteen years and latterly served as Group VP of Marketing Analytics and Insights, leading the Marketing Strategy and Planning, Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, CRM and Research functions in the firm's Corporate Marketing group. Prior to this, she worked for Mercer Management Consulting, and served as VP Research and Analytics at HBO. She began her career at American Express.

In her new role, Murrin will be responsible for leading the Data Analytics practice, and overseeing WWE's enterprise metadata management initiatives. She will report to Tandy O'Donoghue, EVP, Strategy and Analytics.
