Location Data Firm Blis Secures $25m Expansion Fund

London-based location data tech firm Blis has raised $25m in a Series B round of funding, which it will use to expand into new markets, including the US.

Greg IsbisterBlis' patented technology provides location data and contextualised consumer behavioural insights for advertisers, allowing them to serve targeted ads via real-time bidding, to specific locations and demographic groups, cross-device.

The latest funding has been led by new investors Endeit Capital, Beringea US and Unilever Ventures, alongside additional credit facilities provided by Silicon Valley Bank. The funds will be used to scale international sales and marketing activities, and also to enhance Blis' data engineering capabilities and the development of new product features.

CEO and founder Greg Isbister (pictured) says the investment recognises the 'unique value of location and Blis' market-leading data platform'.
