Ipsos Relaunches Business Consulting Unit in Aus

In Australia, Ipsos has appointed Shaan Tainton as Head of its Business Consulting division, which it is relaunching in the country.

Ipsos Business Consulting helps clients evaluate business unit performance, expand in new and emerging markets and formulate fact-based sales and marketing campaigns. Tainton will be responsible for building the division's Australian team, and developing clients in the agribusiness, healthcare/meditech, industrial, construction and automotive sectors.

She brings more than 20 years' experience in customer research, with a focus on building customer, employee and stakeholder engagement, and has worked in senior roles at Synovate, New York's Sirota Consulting and London-based Assessment & Development Consultants. In early 2001, she founded Behavioural Insight in New York, as a full service marketing and business insights consultancy.

'Ipsos Business Consulting has been active in the Australian market since the acquisition of Perth-based Market Equity in 2005', says divisional CEO Peter Snell.
