Physician Community SERMO Debuts RealTime Poll Service

May 10 2016

In the US, online physician community SERMO has launched a new tool called RealTime, to enable clients to test ideas among the firm's nearly two million healthcare professionals, within 'minutes'.

Mark AntonacciAcquired by healthcare researcher WorldOne in 2012, SERMO provides a social network for doctors in 30 countries, along with a polling service with 1.8 million members in 80 countries. The firm's new RealTime tool has been developed for frequent, short surveys with healthcare professionals, allowing targeting by speciality and geographical location, as well as by disease state.

Mark Antonacci (pictured), EVP and Global Head of Sales, comments: 'RealTime helps clients quickly connect to more than 40 specialties of doctors, as well as dentists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. It gives clients something they've been clamoring for: the ability to repeatedly test their ideas so they can quickly adjust and strengthen their strategies. Instead of waiting months for massive piles of data, RealTime allows them to move effectively and efficiently'.
