P&G Veteran to Head New Bakamo.Social Swiss Office

Procter and Gamble (P&G) veteran Mahmoud Ghazal has joined qualitative social media research start up Bakamo.Social as Global Head of Operations and Delivery, and will also lead the firm's newly-opened office in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mahmoud GhazalThe firm, which also has offices in London and Budapest, uses a proprietary approach called DeepScape to understand social media conversations and uncover consumer insight. Ghazal (pictured) joins after a seventeen-year career at P&G, where he latterly served as Global Consumer and Market Knowledge, in charge of consumer insights and market strategy for Dolce & Gabbanna. During his time with the firm, he was responsible for the innovation process behind other brands such as Gucci and Boss, and he worked as insight function leader for Olay, Oral B and Crest.
