Forrester Veteran Named Shift*Base CEO

London-based Shift*Base Research has appointed former Forrester Research veteran Christine Overby as Chief Executive Officer.

Founded last year by former Dachis Group execs Livio Hughes and Lee Bryant, Shift*Base offer a range of analysis, tools and models to help firms with changes in their organisation and culture. Overby (pictured) joins after seventeen years at Forrester Research, latterly as VP, Product Manager, responsible for a peer networking product for senior business and IT executives. Earlier, she was UK Country Leader, managed global strategy and operations for the firm's Marketing Leadership practice, and launched its Digital Marketing practice.

Commenting on the appointment, Bryant said: 'We launched Shift*Base because executives need practical advice to transition from bureaucratic systems to more fluid and connected organisations. Christine's experience and passion for new ways of working is what we need to cut through the noise of trivial white papers and so-called thought leadership, and to help scale a more impactful offering'.
