Havas Rolls Out Adcity Network Globally

Ad network Havas has rolled out its Adcity out-of-home OOH and geolocation-based communications division globally, with 300 local experts based in 35 offices across Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.

Matthieu HabraFirst launched in December 2014 in France, the division applies consumer understanding to data activation, media convergence, and new technologies to drive impact and engagement with consumers on the move. The team works closely with other Havas Group businesses including social media unit Socialyse, mobile marketing arm Mobext, and online performance marketing brand Ecselis; and its proprietary tech platform Adcity Solutions integrates consumer socio-demographic, behavioural, mobility and media data to help clients understand consumers at a geographic level in each country.

The division will be led globally by Matthieu Habra (pictured), who previously served as MD of Havas Media France and co-CEO of Havas 360, before which, he was a Partner at Kinetic, and held senior roles at Posterscope and Carat Event. Commenting on the roll out, Habra said: 'The exponential increase in the digitalization of media, the arrival of new technologies, and real-time data have profoundly transformed the way we approach OOH and local communications. Adcity will further enhance its worldwide data approach, most notably with the inclusion of mobile data.'
