Research Now in US Shopper Intelligence Deal

July 12 2016

Research Now has partnered with category management and shopper insight specialist Lucros Partners, and will sell its Shopper Intelligence platform in the US.

Will RobinsonUsed under license, Shopper Intelligence provides an international, quantitative measurement program that is based on interviewing shoppers from all major categories, brands, and retailers in one benchmarking process. The solution has been designed to identify how to better invest shopper marketing budgets; understand which shoppers will respond best to what kind of promotions; and reduce inefficient assortment, while helping position new products in the right segments. In addition, the program can be used to track change year to year.

The US program provides more than 300,000 customer views into over 130 product categories across more than twenty retailers in the food and beverage industries, now fuelled by Research Now's global panel of respondents. Using the system, manufacturers and retailers can uncover a range of attitude and shopper behaviour metrics from both online and brick and mortar shopping experiences; with the data set provided through an online dashboard, and additional analysis and insights provided by Lucros Partners.

Will Robinson (pictured), VP, Corporate & Product Development at Research Now, comments: 'Shopper Intelligence is a program we've been supporting globally since 2008, and we are confident that US-focused manufacturers and retailers will receive the same tremendous value experienced by our clients around the world. The program truly underscores our ability to deliver quality insights at a massive scale'.
