DIY Specialist Aha! Relocates to Historic Ford Building

July 12 2016

In Michigan, USA, DIY online qual platform Aha! has relocated to the historic Ford Valve Plant building in Northville.

The Ford Valve Plant in Northville, MILaunched in 2007 by CEO Ray Fischer, Jim Chastain and Jim White, the Aha! platform can be used to create and run fully customizable qualitative studies and evaluate ideas and communications such as TV ads, print, and digital messages. In addition, it offers features for storytelling and collage building, while its community tools include pinboards, 'wishing walls' and bulletin boards.

The firm has now moved to the 72,000 square foot Ford Valve Plant commercial complex, commissioned by Henry Ford and designed by industrial architect Albert Kahn. As well as hints of Art Deco in the brickwork and entryway styling, the 1936 building incorporates a 19-foot-high by 7-foot-wide water wheel that originally provided electricity to power the factory machines. Fischer says that the development embodies the 'spirit of innovation, invention and productivity' that are the driving principles of his own company. 'Our technology is transformational and I think it is important for our team to be inspired and motivated every day when we come to work. This environment does just that', Fischer explains.
