Lumi Launches 'QuickSay' Respondent Engagement App

July 14 2016

UK-based mobile survey tech firm Lumi has launched a respondent engagement tool called QuickSay, designed to enhance panellist engagement and ensure fewer dropouts.

Lumi Launches 'QuickSay' Respondent Engagement AppAs well as research, Lumi's real-time audience technology can be used for meetings and events, education and corporate communication. The firm says its new QuickSay respondent-centric app aims to bring market research in line with current consumer behaviour and address the industry's slow adoption of mobile. The platform feeds respondents just two questions per session, recommending no more than two sessions a day, with the aim of moving MR away from the concept of surveys, to that of questions and mobile diaries.

Product Manager Shaima Abdelmageed explains: 'It's no secret that respondents think that surveys are too long, but many feel they have done enough if they cut 45 minutes' worth of questions down to fifteen. However, to be truly mobile first and to carry out research in a way that matches how we all actually use our phones, the concept of a survey as it has always been understood must disappear. Lumi QuickSay will take a survey as it is, but offer the questions in this new, intuitive way'.
