Gimbal Debuts Location-Based Targeting App

August 8 2016

Mobile engagement platform Gimbal has launched a solution, to enable marketers to build mobile app campaigns and gain access to data on where their customers go, how long they dwell in those places, and which customer segments respond best to particular mobile messages or experiences.

Jeff RussakowGimbal's platform combines macro-location geofences and micro-location beacons with a cloud-based solution to help users build, manage, and analyze location-based mobile experiences. Its new cloud-based Gimbal Experiences solution is designed to enable users to build and execute their mobile campaigns in a few clicks, repurposing existing digital creative assets such as images, video, immersive mobile web experiences and push communications to create targeted mobile experiences.

CEO Jeff Russakow (pictured) comments: 'We recognize that for location-powered marketing to truly proliferate, marketers require an enterprise-grade tool that can define outdoor and indoor places, incorporate existing creative assets, and set simple rules - all with a few clicks. And it must connect easily into existing mobile cloud and business intelligence tools already on the marketer's desktop. With Gimbal Experiences, we have accomplished all of this in one platform.'
