WPP's plista Appoints North America Head

WPP's digital ad targeting specialist plista has appointed Elizabeth Harrington as Head of North America, responsible for driving the division's growth in the US and Canada.

Elizabeth HarringtonPart of WPP's audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis, plista offers proprietary real-time recommendation technology, through which it delivers both content and advertising that matches users' individual interests across all channels and devices. The unit employs more than 180 people and offers its solutions across sixteen international markets.

Harrington (pictured) joins after its recent launch in the US and Canada, with expertise in developing, launching, and growing digital media solutions. Most recently, she was a founding team member of digital ad platform Local Yokel Media, where she served as SVP Business Development and Publisher Services. Before this, she worked in business development at independent rating system Greenopia, and earlier in her career, Harrington held business development roles at iVillage, JPMorgan Chase, and IMG.
