Q Research Software Firm Hires Eight

Numbers International, the home of brands Q Research Software and DataCracker, has appointed eight new members of staff at its offices in the US, UK and Australia. The firm is also planning to release a new data science platform.

Tim BockThe new staff members are:

  • US-based Tim Ali, who joins the Support and Development team with a survey research and business intelligence background.
  • Quantitative researcher Matthew Steele, who joins the UK team from Kubi Kalloo ((formerly known as ruby cha cha UK) where he worked as a Consultant, having previously held senior roles at Added Value in New York and Sydney, and worked as an Account Manager at AMR Interactive.
  • Former DataSquirrels Operation Manager Mattias Engdahl joins the Customer Engineering team with a background in data processing and market research gained at Research International, Ronin Corporation and SSI.
  • Carmen Chan, having just completed her PhD in Bioinformatics, also joins the Customer Engineering team.
  • In the Development team, Po Liu and Michael Wang join in software engineering roles to focus on data visualisations.
  • William Guo recently joined the Sydney team and is responsible for all things finance related.
Commenting on the appointments, Numbers International founder Tim Bock (pictured) said: 'We are constantly innovating in a market that is hungry for modern analytical tools. The next month will see R fully integrated into Q and later this year we will launch our data science platform, so we will continue to expand'.
