European ad visibility analyst Meetrics has completed a third funding round, which it will use to open offices in Italy, Poland and the Nordic countries.
With existing offices in Berlin, Paris, London and Vienna, Meetrics helps clients assess the actual visibility rates and individual view times of online ads. It also offers market research tools to analyse the behavior and reading habits of Internet users, while its panel studies combine the collected data with sociodemographic information or data from additional surveys. At the beginning of last year, the company received Media Rating Council accreditation for the viewable ad impression measurement in its Ad Attention Monitor product - for both display and video ads.
The new funding, amounting to 'a seven-figure sum', has been led by new investors eValue and Muzungu Capital, with participation from two long-standing investors, VC Fonds Technologie Berlin (operated by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft) and yabeo Capital.
Joint MD Max von Hilgers (pictured) comments: 'We reached profitability halfway through the year and were therefore able to calmly consider our strategic plans for Meetrics. With our new investors we can now focus on pushing ahead our international expansion and reinforcing our leading position in the continental European market'.
