Shapiro+Raj Promotes Mueller to President

In the US, research and insights firm Shapiro+Raj has promoted social scientist Margaret Mueller to the role of President.

Headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in New York and Pune, India, Shapiro+Raj was formed in 2014 when business transformation specialist Zain Raj acquired a majority interest in independent MR firm Shapiro. The firm has recently combined all its independent units to offer a fully integrated suite of research and insights solutions.

Mueller (pictured) joined the firm in 2012, to set up and run its pharmaceutical and healthcare practice, CarbonSix. During the last year, she has served as Chief Client Services Officer. In her new role she will lead client teams, help identify and develop ways to deliver insights for clients, and collaborate with other company leaders to further develop the Digital Insights and Intelligence practice.

Commenting on the promotion, Raj said: 'Margaret was instrumental in integrating all of our brands into one and this promotion is recognition of her leadership and proven ability to scale as Shapiro+Raj continues to grow.
