Funds for Buyer Behavior Prediction Firm CaliberMind

October 27 2016

Predictive marketing startup CaliberMind has raised $1.1m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to expand its data science team. The firm has also appointed Corey Litwin as Vice President of Sales.

Raviv TurnerCaliberMind uses machine learning and human language analysis to build a 360-degree psychographic persona that can predict a consumer's buying behavior.

A number of organisations participated in the seed round, including CEB Ventures, Colorado-based Meritage Funds, PV Ventures, and Crawley Ventures among others. CEO and co-founder Raviv Turner (pictured) comments: 'Most predictive marketing tools are designed to generate leads but our customers don't have a leads problem, they have a conversion problem. Using CaliberMind, they are seeing results today in terms of increased engagement and demand, and ultimately more sales. This is where CaliberMind excels - at the mid to bottom of the funnel'.

Litwin brings a fifteen year sales background, and previously held senior account management and sales roles at B2B marketing operating system Kapost, publisher Thompson Reuters, influencer marketing specialist TapInfluence, and ad targeting firm Acuity Brands.
