UK Firm Offers 'Plug and Play' Business Assessment

November 14 2016

RiddleBox, a company based in High Wycombe, UK, has launched Pulse Plus, described as 'the first plug and play business management performance assessment and measurement tool'.

Riddle Box logoThe tool - 'eight years in the making' according to the firm - combines the disciplines of psychology and neuroscience, which co-founder Jeremy Moore likens to the studies of software and hardware for the brain. As with a computer, the two are interdependent. Within Pulse Plus, the firm's Business Persona profiling software taps psychology to 'recognise and accommodate the impact of outside influences on individual behaviour'; while its patented Experience Score methodology, 'equally applicable to Employees and Customers', makes use of neuroscience.

co-founder Dr Ram Raghvan says one of the firm's clients suggested Pulse Plus was 'a three-dimensional Myers Briggs', but says 'that really doesn't begin to do it justice. A better analogy would be the car servicing diagnostic tool - you effectively plug your business into Pulse Plus, run the process and then analyse the results'.

Moore, a former coach of the GB Rowing squad, sums up the launch: 'Creating a powerful and positive employee experience is the single most influential factor in achieving outstanding organisation performance and ultimately competitive advantage. Until now, there was no way of objectively measuring experience, despite its importance. I know from my time coaching how maximum performance could only be guaranteed if my rowers' heads were in the right place emotionally. It's the same in business, but if you can't measure it, you can't manage it. Well you can now'.
