Cint Hires to Boost 'NextGen' Strategy

November 28 2016

Online insights exchange provider Cint has appointed Kevin Gianatiempo to spearhead strategic partnerships in North America as part of its 'NextGen' strategy. He will be based in the recently launched San Francisco office.

Kevin GianatiempoGianatiempo brings fifteen years of ad tech experience to his new role as SVP of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances - including in-depth knowledge of the programmatic ad tech space - from senior sales roles at TubeMogul and SpotX, and most recently as CRO for start-up firmAdForge.

In his new role, he will further develop partnerships with online publishers, Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and Data Management Platforms (DMPs), to supplement inferred data with more reliable user-supplied data and create more robust segmentation.

Cint's Deputy CEO Richard Thornton recently relocated to San Francisco to lead the NextGen go-to-market strategy, reflecting an increased focus on the US business. Other US offices are based in New York, Princeton, Los Angeles and Atlanta, under the overall management of Jake Wolff, North American MD.

Thornton says Gianatiempo's ad tech knowledge and experience will be 'invaluable' in Cint's NextGen strategy, which is key to driving the firm's future growth, alongside its 'core, traditional business' led by Wolff.

Cint gives users direct access to consumer panels, with options to self-serve and deliver research campaigns through Access Pro, collect insights in real time, and manage their own panels using Engage. The firm's total of more than twenty million panelists in more than 75 countries have been recruited through over 2,000 panel owners. It's had a busy year, launching Opinion App, 'the world's first mobile-native insight exchange', in March; and real-time, cross-panel and cross-device insights tool Connect in May - in addition to hiring and expanding in the US.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and majority owned by investment firm Nordic Capital, the company is online at www.cint.com .
