Decision Analyst Sets Up Sampling Firm Symmetric

December 16 2016

US-based MR and consulting firm Decision Analyst has launched a new company called Symmetric, selling sample from its various consumer and b2b panels to both MR firms and end clients.

Jason ThomasDecision Analyst specialises in advertising testing, strategy research and new product development, and runs a number of panels. Symmetric Sampling will sell sample from a number of these: the Physicians Advisory Council; the Medical Advisory Board panel of nurses, medical technicians and other non-physician medical workers; the Technology Advisory Board for software engineers and other IT professionals; and the Contractor (painters, carpenters, plumbers, electricians etc) and Executive (business owners and execs) Advisory Boards. They will also gain access to the American Consumer Opinion Worldwide consumer panel of members in more than 200 countries, operating in eleven major languages.

Jason Thomas (pictured), who is President of the new company, comments: 'Symmetric provides sampling services to companies that place a very high value on representative samples, scientific-sampling methods, and advanced fraud-detection systems. Our suite of online panels is continuously balanced, refreshed, and cleaned, with all samples vetted by our proprietary fraud-detection system, Sleuth, and non-responders, speedsters, and cheaters constantly purged. Stratified sampling controls and random selection of participants within each cell helps ensure that each sample is as representative as possible'.
