Blueberry Launches PinPoint Product Optimization Tool

US full-service marketing and sensory research agency Blueberry has launched a proprietary product and concept testing methodology called PinPoint.

Lisa McGurk and Janet Fisher-HughesOwned by research group Reckner and based in Chalfont, PA, Blueberry specializes in product innovation, identifying new opportunities for existing products, and providing guidance on the development of new products and brands. Its new PinPoint solution enables users to predict how many consumers will purchase a product on a regular basis; and identify which elements of the concept and product have the most impact on sales. In addition, it can be used to determine the optimal price for a product, and forecast how that product will perform under various market scenarios. The tool also benchmarks against the current marketplace; and can identify specific concept and product improvements needed to maximize product fit.
