UK-based mobile video MR specialist Voxpopme has partnered with US emotion measurement specialist Affectiva to enable clients to analyse facial expressions in new and existing video feedback.
Affectiva's Emotion AI will be integrated into the Voxpopme platform, to deliver metrics and understanding of the subtleties of facial expressions across the latter firm's projects. Rana el Kaliouby, Affectiva co-founder and CEO, says her firm's emotion recognition technology is perfectly suited to Voxpopme's video research approach and will enable researchers using its technology to search and filter all videos by specific emotions, derived from the facial expressions of hundreds of respondents.
