Dentsu Aegis Buys Digital Agency blue-infinity

Marcoms group Dentsu Aegis has acquired Geneva, Switzerland-based digital agency blue-infinity, which offers a range of integrated marketing, CRM, commerce, retail, tracking, and analytics services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Christophe Martin and Pierre AebischerFounded in 2001 by Christophe Martin and Pierre Aebischer, blue-infinity has a team of more than 500 digital experts who provide clients in the retail, banking, pharmaceutical and non-governmental sectors with a combination of creative and technical skills. In addition to Switzerland, the firm currently has offices in the Czech Republic and Portugal.

Following its acquisition, blue-infinity will join Dentsu Aegis Network's global digital marketing agency Isobar, and be known as 'blue-infinity - Linked By Isobar'. The blue-infinity management team will remain unchanged, with Martin and Aebischer leading the business and reporting directly to Lars Bo Jeppesen, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe.

In a statement, Martin and Aebischer said: 'We are now part of a network of 35,000 experts across 145 countries with whom we share a common vision and values. We will now be able to serve clients even better, through a more holistic and wider range of know-how, as well as on a global scale, to provide unrivalled expertise for our clients on their journey of digital transformation'.
