Former Lightspeed Director Joins DIY Provider AYTM

Former Lightspeed Research director Mike MacLeod has joined DIY online survey service AYTM as Director of Business Development, based in San Francisco.

Mike MacLeodAYTM (Ask Your Target Market) offers access to a panel of millions of US consumers, allowing selection of research respondents based on their psychographic and demographic characteristics. Users can design a survey using up to eighteen question types, images and video, launch it and view responses. In addition, the company offers analytics tools to dissect and understand the data, as well as access to a team of researchers and project managers.

MacLeod (pictured) joins with a 25-year research background. Most recently, he spent nine years at WPP-owned Lightspeed Research, where he latterly served as Senior Account Director. Prior to this, he was VP of Research Operations at Harris Interactive, where he also held VP positions in survey programming as well as sales and marketing. In addition, he spent eight years at Ottawa, Canada-based Opinion Search.

In his new role, he will focus on the distribution of AYTM's platform. CEO Lev Mazin comments: 'Mike brings broad industry expertise and leadership, and we're excited about the fresh perspective he'll bring as we continue to grow'.
