Voxpopme Hires Jem Wallis to Grow AsiaPac Business

UK-based mobile video MR specialist Voxpopme has appointed industry veteran Jem Wallis as Regional Director of Asia Pacific, based in Sydney.

Jem WallisLaunched in 2013 by Dave Carruthers and Andrew Barraclough, and with offices in Birmingham, Denver and Singapore, VoxPopMe offers a smartphone app through which consumers can provide feedback on brands in the form of video responses direct from their mobile phones. In addition, the platform offers features such as sentiment analysis to determine the attitude of the respondent.

Wallis (pictured) joins with a twenty-five year research industry background from work on three continents. During his career, he has launched and managed Kaleidoscope, GalKal, Heartbeat, and Cat Dog, and while in his new role he will continue to run boutique qual agency Vivid.

At Voxpopme, he is tasked with further strengthening the company's Australian presence and global expansion. Commenting on the appointment, Carruthers said: 'Jem's appointment will bring a renewed focus, expertise and passion to Voxpopme in APAC.
