Wagstaff Named MD at Cambridge Market Research

In the UK, former YouGov Head of Research Michael Wagstaff is joining full service agency Cambridge Market Research as Managing Director on 1st April. He will replace Paul Beresford, who becomes company Chairman.

Wagstaff (pictured) joined YouGov in 2007, serving as Head of Public Sector Consulting before his promotion in 2012. Prior to this, he worked in IFF Research's public sector policy practice, and was a director at social research consultancy Spark Partnership. In his new role, he takes over from Beresford, who will remain active in the business, working on key accounts and special projects.

Beresford says the company is growing and its offer expanding: 'We need someone to take us to the next level and Michael will do just that. His record at YouGov is impressive and he brings with him a deep understanding of how high quality research can make a difference to a client's business. I'm delighted that he has chosen to join us'.
